How long does it take to install?
Around 3 days on average. We start with surface preparation and taping down protective paper / bubble layers to protect surrounding areas. We then apply a base bond layer, followed by the spray acrylic texture, then the color and sealer.
How effective is a cool deck finish and cooling the deck temperature?
On average, cool deck coatings can lower the surface temperature of the concrete deck by around 30 degrees Fahrenheit, more than any other decking option.
What type of decking can cool deck go over?
Virtually any concrete deck, whether bare concrete, pebble / pea gravel deck, stamped concrete or an existing cool deck. We can also pour new concrete decking if there is not a concrete deck already in place.
How long does cool deck last?
If cared for properly, most cool deck finishes last 10+ years before needing refinished. The good news is that it can be recolored and resealed at end of life, saving on the cost of renewal.
How much does cool deck cost?
Cool deck is the most economical decking option. Pricing depends on the existing material, preparation that will be needed to ensure a good bond, and size of the deck. We provide free estimates!
Can cool deck be applied to damaged concrete pool decks?
Yes! We can apply crack treatments and other remedies to make damaged decking look new! We just need a concrete base to work with.
